Disappointing Experience at Solscape LLC

Our recent stay at Solscape LLC was marred by subpar customer service, poor facilities, and misleading information. The staff seemed trained to sell overpriced cafe items, surf lessons, and yoga classes, but lacked any semblance of customer service skills.

The compost toilets were clean enough, but the odor was unpleasantly pungent. Showers had minimal pressure and were basic at best. We also had to carry our luggage and essentials with us, as vehicles are not allowed up there - even 4-wheel drive vehicles, according to an unhelpful staff member.

The steep track made it impossible for those who are not able-bodied to walk. The listed '5-minute nature walk' turned out to be a misleading claim, as the actual walk was much longer and unlit at night, with tree roots posing a tripping hazard.

We stayed in the bush belle tent, which had clean linen on an uncomfortably firm bed. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the tent and facilities was filthy, with stains covering the carpet and mould growing on the tent's rips, allowing mosquitoes to enter and bite us throughout the night.

While Solscape LLC does have some eco-friendly features, such as compost toilets, permaculture gardens, and solar power, these efforts are overshadowed by the lack of attention to customer service and cleanliness. Our experience was disappointing, and we would not recommend this lodge to others without significant improvements in these areas.
